i’ve got a great idea.

Sometimes, more than one.

A design leader, who’s been known to act like a writer and think like an engineer. A connector of ideas and concepts with an entrepreneurial spirit; steeped in more than 20 years experience in multiple markets, with a wide breadth of tactical capabilities.

I encourage my teams to combine the visual language of design, mix it with story-telling and add viable structure to give form to solutions that resonate with users’ needs, that speak to customers and emulate the total vision of a product’s brand and strategy.

Defining
the Experience

Know before “Go.”

If the product does not answer users’ needs, it fails from the outset. My approach is to take a solid stance on understanding users’ needs before work commences, so every stake-holder involved can make informed decisions about business needs, programmatic logic and visual solutions.

It all starts
with brand

(UX + UI) BX = CX

Brand, interface and UX design are intertwined and need to build on one-another — every aspect of the product needs to express core aspects of the business needs and brand. Ultimately, the product is an immersion for users inside the brand, wrapped in tasks and expressed in needs solutions.

This is
how I role

People craft.

The best way to support my teams is by empowering them to be an integral part of the decision-making process. That means being involved early and often, to hear from stake-holders directly, raise their concerns and opinions and have them heard.

My job is to foster growth, bolster confidence and define personnel trajectories that are realistic, obtainable and actionable; yielding outcomes that benefit both the team member and the organization.

…and the sanctity of IP

As an integral part of many different product and brand teams, I’m privy to some very sensitive information. Each brand puts their faith in me to hold their IP in confidence — a trust that I take very seriously.

As such, I have created a portfolio of work that depicts the breadth of my capabilities and process, while maintaining the integrity of IP and trade secrets.

  • …Ron is a wonderful team player. The great part of working with [him] is his ability to conceptualize the larger perspective of the mission and purpose of the project or objective. He is a renaissance man, skilled in more than the visual expression of the work that needs to get done, but understands the big picture and scope of what our brands are trying to achieve.
